This premium is to cover the extra amount it costs to insure younger or older drivers and will cost €10.00 per day extra.
Any driver can rent a car between these ages as long as they have a full driving licence. It needs to be a relatively clean licence with no major endorsements though. If your licence if issues in a country that doesn't use the Roman alphabet, or if there is no secondary translation in the Roman alphabet, you will also require an International Driving Permit. If multiple people will drive the car, then a driving licence must be presented for each driver, but be aware that adding a second driver can cost an extra €5.00 per day unless stated otherwise.
A major credit card such as an American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Eurocard or Access must be presented in the main driver's name. A hold amount will be placed and released is the vehicle is retuned undamaged.
If you pay a deposit or the full amount online, and cannot provide any of these, you will be refused the keys and may not be given a refund.
